getting Started

pwMapApp helps you as you Explore a Map. In order to keep a history of your exploration, first you Register as an Explorer... ==== Explorer Registration: The key requirement is that you select your own Explorer Name. The first time you run the app you will be asked to select your explorerName. There are some restrictions on Explorer Names. These ones are important: You select a name that suits *you* the app will make sure that no-one else has already Registered that name Within the app -- other Explorers will see your explorerName Are you happy that friends and family may see your explorerName? Once chosen -- you will *not* be able to change that name It will identify all of your future Exploration Don't worry -- explorerName is the *only* identifying data that we store. ==== step one: run pwMapApp :-) step two: Register your unique explorerName step three: Explore a pwMap ==== There is a pwMap called "Start Here with StreetView" ... you can search for "start" o

the Concept

the pwMap: You are visiting an interesting area. You have a map... The Map shows lots of interesting places. You would like to visit some of these interesting places. You follow the map and find places... the pwApp: pwMapApp provides you with a list of the interesting places on the pwMap the pwTreasure: Each label on the Map is a Treasure: How many pwTreasures can you discover? You find a Treasure. The App confirms that yes, you have found that Treasure. Then the App provides a list of Treasures still to be discovered. Can you find all of the pwTreasures? Can you find more Treasures than your pwFriends? Is there another pwMap that you can explore? Dr Nick Lethbridge / Consulting Dexitroboper ...        Agamedes Consulting / Problems ?
